The Hebron High School Choral Department consists of approximately 200 students in Six performing choirs: A Cappella Choir, Belle Chanson, Concert Tenor-Bass, Concert Treble, Harmony Show Choir and HawkAppella. The Hebron Choirs perform in a Fall Concert, Cluster Concerts, Holiday Concert, University Interscholastic League Concert and Sight-reading Contest and a themed, choreographed Spring Concert. Hebron Choir members also participate in the LISD Solo and Ensemble Contest and TMEA Region 2 auditions for the TMEA Texas All-State Choir. Since Hebron High School opened in 1999, the choral department has consistently produced Sweepstakes awards at the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest, TMEA All-Region Choir members, and Texas All-State Choir members. Past members of the Hebron choirs have gone on to major in vocal performance and music education or have joined university choirs.
Members of the Hebron Choirs value great personal integrity, self-discipline, dedication, devotion, and community. Many choir students are actively involved with other school activities such as football, basketball, tennis, swimming, cross country, track, band, orchestra, theatre, the all-school musical, cheerleading, journalism, academic decathlon, National Honor Society, Key Club, and many other organizations, while maintaining a high level of involvement in the choral program.
